A Season in Hell #21: I Fought the Law. John Law

I am so honored to have long time prankster John Law on my show tonight. I met John at Burning Man, in 1994, my first year. I co-founded Radio Free Burning Man, and John was one of the big 3 in charge of the event. When I wasn't on the air for the next three years, I was hanging out with John. He's very inspiring, and an amazing story teller.

He and Flecher Fludejon have a new film, "Head Trip". It follows John and the Cyclecide Bike Rodeo on their coast to coast trip from SF to NYC, in a bus, with John's three Doggie Diner head following on a trailer close behind. Actually, they were attached. They went to a heap load of road side attractions along the way. What makes this trip all the better, is that they did this right after Shrub declared war on Iraq.

John and the gang acted as ambassadors of fun; proving that America is still an amazing country, with a lot to see and enjoy. I couldn't agree more.

I love a good road trip. This film will make you want to get out on the road today. Take a look here for more info.

A Season In Hell #19: Stood Up

So it would seem that John Hell is not the sexy guy everyone was telling him he was.

Nope.

Not at all.

This week's show was going to be about SEX. That's right, SEX. But the sexologist I had booked, came down with a cold the size of one of those bulbous condoms, that are "ribbed for her pleasure". So I'm doing the show sans guest tonight.

That means more music and more commentary from yours truly. And since the New Hampshire primary is tomorrow, you know I'll be talking about that tonight. I also went to see Eric Mcfadden on Friday night, and DAMN he was so good. And relevant too. You know who I'm talking to. That's right, you folks who got out of the Social D show, and complained about the cover at the Boom Boom Room. Get a life. So yeah, I'll be playing some of him too.

Oh, and the sexy chick will be on soon. Perhaps as soon as next Monday.

Anyway, tune in tonight, 8-Midnight, Pirate Cat Radio, 87.9fm in SF and LA, 104.8fm in Berlin, http://piratecatradio.com

Per usual, you can download the show following the broadcast by clicking on the "dj schedule" link, "a season in hell link", and then find the date of the show on the right side of the page. Even though the show is on the 7th, the podcast uploads showing the following day. In this case it will say "01/08/08".

Whew.

Thanks for your support.

See you on the radio.
